The Schauspielgruppe des Anglistischen Seminars in Heidelberg is one of the oldest English drama groups in Germany, founded in the 1960s. The group is connected to the University of Heidelberg, and open to anyone who likes acting. Over the years, the Schauspielgruppe has put on stage age-old classics such as Shakespeare, modern stories, crime plays, dark tragedies, hilarious comedies, originally English plays as well as texts translated from various languages.

* Tartuffe is een komedie uit de 17e eeuw; de gebruikte Engelse vertaling is modern en daarom gemakkelijk te begrijpen. De voorstelling is dan ook geschikt voor iedereen die enigszins Engels verstaat.
